Pet Transport and Pet Boarding Specialists
This document outlines the Terms & Conditions governing the daycare services provided by Keringa cc t/a Keringa-Petwings. These terms constitute an agreement between Keringa Doggy Daycare and the pet owner (referred to as “you” or “the client”), and detail the responsibilities, policies, and procedures related to the daycare of your pet. By entrusting your pet to our care, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We encourage you to carefully review the following information:
1. In the interest of all pets’ health and safety, we cannot accept applications or admit pets for daycare unless they are vaccinated in line with current veterinary requirements and our own standards, with documentary proof provided in advance.
2. To keep our boarding facilities parasite-free, Keringa Doggy Daycare will handle all vaccinations and parasite treatments for your dog/s. Your pets will be treated with a tick- and flea-preventative, such as Frontline or Bravecto, as well as dewormed on a monthly basis. Vaccinations will be done yearly by our resident veterinarian. There will be an additional charge for these services.
3. Admission to the daycare is subject to a compulsory behaviour and temperament assessment.
4. Only sterilised (spayed/neutered) dogs are permitted to participate in the social play parks. Unsterilised dogs may attend, but will be placed in individual parks with one-on-one attention, and not in social groups.
5. Dogs with contagious diseases, parasites, or visible illness will not be admitted. A health clearance from a veterinarian may be requested.
6. We do not accept aggressive or unsocialised dogs. Admission remains at the discretion of Keringa staff.
7. All dogs are grouped by temperament, size, and energy levels to ensure compatibility and safety. Groupings are subject to change at the discretion of Keringa staff.
8. Your dogs can expect the finest treatment at Keringa Doggy Daycare, but they, and their accessories, are accepted entirely at their owner’s risk.
9. Daycare will be invoiced one month in advance and accounts are settled in advance.
10. The pet’s owner acknowledges responsibility for the full costs of daycare booked, whether the pet is accommodated or not, and understands that this reservation contract is not subject to cancellation or variation unless such cancellation or variation is received in writing at least two weeks in advance.
11. Our fees include physical check-ups, supervised play, brushing, and exercising for dogs, but specifically exclude nursing, medication, meals, or additional services, which will be charged as extras. Unless medically required, no meals will be given at daycare.
12. If, in the sole discretion and opinion of the owner or senior staff of Keringa Doggy Daycare, your pet becomes sufficiently ill, we will call a veterinarian to attend to your pet or take it to a veterinary hospital for appropriate professional attention, at the pet owner’s expense.
13. The owner acknowledges that Keringa Doggy Daycare shall, insofar as the law allows, not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss, injury, and/or damages, howsoever sustained, by any owner, dog, or property, arising from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to any negligent act or omission by Keringa Doggy Daycare.
14. Our operating hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Sleepovers can be arranged through our boarding department. Normal kennel rates will apply and are payable on presentation of the account.
