Private Pet Parks – Terms & Conditions

This document outlines the Terms & Conditions governing the private pet park services provided by Keringa cc t/a Keringa-Petwings. These terms constitute an agreement between Keringa cc t/a Keringa-Petwings and the pet owner (referred to as “you” or “the client”), and detail the responsibilities, policies, and procedures related to the private pet park service. By booking this private pet park service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We encourage you to carefully review the following information:

Bookings and Payment

1.1. All bookings must be made and paid for in advance.

1.2. Bookings are charged at an hourly rate as published by Keringa-Petwings (Keringa cc, Plot 2, Oranjerivier Drive, Terenure, Kempton Park).

1.3. Use of the Keringa Private Pet Parks is limited to the specific time slot booked. Clients must vacate the park promptly at the end of their session.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1. If a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the reserved time, the client may reschedule to another available time slot at no additional cost.

2.2. If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the reserved time, no refund or rescheduling will be permitted.

2.3. Failure to arrive for a booking will be treated as a cancellation with no refund.

Use of Facilities

3.1. The Keringa Private Pet Parks are intended for the safe and private use of clients and their pets during the booked time.

3.2. Clients are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their pets and any persons accompanying them.

3.3. Clients are required to leave the facilities in a clean and orderly condition. All pet waste must be collected and disposed of in the bins provided.

3.4. Keringa reserves the right to refuse entry or request that clients leave the premises if pets or persons behave in a manner deemed unsafe, disruptive, or damaging.

Health and Safety

4.1. Clients must ensure their pets are healthy, vaccinated, and free of contagious conditions before entering the facilities.

4.2. Pets must be treated for ticks, fleas, and worms before being permitted on the lawns. Proof of veterinary treatment may be requested. Alternatively, clients may make use of Keringa’s own treatment services, which are available at a special clients-only rate.

4.3. Clients are responsible for ensuring their pets are under control at all times, whether by leash, voice, or enclosure as appropriate.

4.4. Children must be supervised at all times.

Liability and Indemnity

5.1. Use of the Keringa Private Pet Parks is entirely at the client’s own risk.

5.2. Keringa, its directors, employees, and agents accept no responsibility and will not be held liable for any:
– Loss, theft, or damage to property, vehicles, or possessions;
– Injury, illness, or death of any person;
– Injury, illness, death, or loss of any pet (including pets that escape from the premises, the car park, or the client’s control);
– Any incident arising from the actions of clients, their pets, or accompanying persons.

5.3. By booking and using the Keringa Private Pet Parks, clients hereby indemnify and hold harmless Keringa, its directors, employees, and agents against any and all claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from their use of the facilities.

General

6.1. By making a booking, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

6.2. Keringa reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Keringa website.

6.3. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
