Reglisse is Home in France 🐈❤ 🇫🇷

In 2023, I decided to move back to France after 22 wonderful years living in SA. In July 2023, the movers came in and removed the majority of the furniture. I scheduled my flight to France in mid-August and decided our 4-year-old Reglisse would join me in France at the end of September. I even extended the house rental until the end of August so that she could stay in her environment for the longest.

Reglisse [then] vanished and was nowhere to be found! A new tenant with 2 dogs moved into our house, Reglisse reappeared months later at our neighbour’s house where she occasionally came to eat. I flew back to SA to try to find Reglisse, but I guess she was angry. To cut a long story short, end of Jan 2024 on a Sunday at 9 pm, she came to eat at our neighbour’s house, and we arranged for her to be caught and placed into the bathroom for me to collect asap. I decided to drive her to Keringa-Petwings – and this is where the extraordinary service started!

Reglisse had been errant for months; all her vaccines had expired. I was welcomed at Keringa-Petwings, and they quickly offered a solution: quarantine then followed by staying at the kennel until she was cleared to fly to Paris.

Every day I received a picture of Reglisse. She was receiving all the care, love and attention. Despite having been in the wild for months, Reglisse is a very affectionate cat who needs human attention.

On a rainy Thursday 30th May 2024, I collected Reglisse from Keringa’s partner near PARIS CDG. The crate she had been put in was very spacious. She was delighted to see me and is now a happy cat in Cannes, France.
